One individual was killed and something like two harmed in a gas release occurrence from a modern region in rural Ghatkopar here on Monday morning, BMC Disaster Control said.
The episode happened around 8 a.m. at the point when methanol and cyanuric chloride gas spilled, in the premises of a manufacturing plant in Kurla Industrial Estate, north-east Mumbai.
As indicated by the Mumbai Fire Brigade which surged there, one individual Ramnivas Sarod, 36, kicked the bucket due to breathing in the harmful gas.
Two others - Rubin Solkar, 36, Sarvansh Sonavane, 25, have been conceded to BMC's Rajawadi Hospital where their condition is depicted as steady.
The reason for the gas spill, the number of people were available in the processing plant premises around then and different perspectives are being explored, said an authority.
