Airlines say they can't fly in Afghanistan due to the closure of its airspace

Amidst the continued turmoil in Afghanistan, Air India's flight scheduled to Kabul on Monday will now not be capable of function as Afghanistan has closed its airspace, the countrywide provider knowledgeable on Monday.


"Due to the closure of Afghanistan airspace, flights can not go there," Air India stated.



The airline had a scheduled flight for Kabul from Delhi at eight.30 am in the morning on Monday but turned into rescheduled to twelve.30 pm.


Meanwhile, Air India's AI 126 Chicago to Delhi bound flight has also been diverted to Gulf airspace due to the closure of Afghan airspace.
