Amit Shah to make a statement on the Nagaland killings "today itself"

Home Minister Amit Shah will offer a definite expression in Lok Sabha on Monday on the Nagaland episode where 14 regular folks were killed during an enemy of rebellion activity by security powers.


When the House met for the afternoon, Opposition individuals raised the Nagaland issue with Congress pioneer Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury saying it was a tragic occurrence.


Accordingly, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said it was a delicate and significant issue.


"Today itself, the home pastor will give a point by point explanation (on the issue)," he said.


Lok Speaker Om Birla said the home priest has given him recorded as a hard copy that he will say something on the occurrence in the House.


Trinamool Congress pioneer Sudip Bandyopadhyay said the terminating episode has shaken the country. "Our basic assumption is that home pastor go to the House and say something".


Prior, sources had said Shah may initially offer the expression in Lok Sabha and afterward in Rajya Sabha. On Sunday, the Army communicated profound lament over the episode in Mon locale of Nagaland and requested a Court of Inquiry.


As indicated by the police in Nagaland's capital Kohima, it was exploring whether the occurrence was an instance of mixed up character.
