Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) pioneer Bikram Singh Majithia on Wednesday showed up before the SIT at the State Crime Branch office in Mohali in a medications case.
Majithia's attorney DS Sobti said, "We need a free and reasonable examination with the goal that reality comes out."
The SAD pioneer, booked by Punjab police under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act , was conceded break bail by Punjab and Haryana High Court on January 10.
Majithia had before on Tuesday hammered Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and other Congress state priests on Tuesday claiming a "intrigue" to outline him to save themselves.
He recently filled in as a clergyman in the Punjab government and was reserved under the NDPS Act at SAS Nagar Police Station based on a 2018 report presented by the counter medication Special Task Force (STF).
