Delhi recorded a most extreme temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius on Friday, two steps over the typical, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The city's base temperature settled at16.2 degrees Celsius.
The meteorologist said the mercury is probably going to ascend to 38 degrees Celsius by Monday.
The capital had recorded a mean most extreme temperature of 33.1 degrees Celsius a month ago, making it the "most sizzling" March over the most recent 11 years, as indicated by the IMD.
It was the most noteworthy mean greatest temperature in March since 2010, when it was 34.1 degrees Celsius.
Regularly, the mean most extreme temperature for the month ofMarch in Delhi is 29.6 degrees Celsius, as per the IMD.
On Monday, Delhi reeled under a "serious" heat wave, as the greatest temperature shot up to 40.1 degrees Celsius, making it the most smoking day in March in 76 years, the IMD had said.
