Google on Tuesday said it has settled the issue with WebView that caused some applications on Android to crash for clients worldwide remembering for India.
"We have settled the issue with WebView that caused some applications on Android to crash for certain clients. Refreshing Android System WebView and Google Chrome through Google Play should now settle the issue," a Google representative said in a proclamation.
Prior, some Android clients confronted slamming issues with applications on their Android gadgets, and Google said it was chipping away at a fix.
"We're mindful of an issue with Gmail influencing a critical subset of clients. The influenced clients can't get to Gmail. We will give an update, itemizing when we hope to determine the issue," Google had said in a prior update.
"Influenced clients can utilize the work area Gmail Web interface rather than the Gmail Android application," the organization exhorted.
Samsung likewise recognized the issue and proposed an answer.
"If it's not too much trouble, eliminate the Webview Update and afterward restart the telephone," Samsung tweeted from its US support Twitter account.
The issue is clearly inferable from a framework segment considered Android System WebView that lets Android applications show web content.
Influenced clients revealed that the Gmail application on Android smashed.
"Here are the means: Go settings > applications > tap the three dabs in the upper right corner > show situation applications > look for Android System WebView > select Uninstall refreshes," Samsung posted.
