Here's why Devon Conway couldn't review the LBW decision against Mumbai Indians

Chennai Super Kings were looking unfortunate so far in their match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium as they lost their opener Devon Conway and Moeen Ali in the absolute first over to Daniel Sams. Things deteriorated as Jasprit Bumrah eliminated Robin Uthappa in the second over of the match.

What was astonishing however was the way that left-given Conway needed to survey the choice yet needed to stroll back as the DRS office was not accessible at that point. The Wankhede Stadium was confronting some extreme power issues and because of that the DRS office was not accessible at that point.

Indeed, even the throw was deferred as one of the light pinnacles was additionally dealing with issues.

The ruling against Conway looked incredibly sketchy as the ball had pitched on the center stump and it appeared to be that it would have proceeded to miss the leg stump.

Pundits, including previous India skipper and batting maestro Sunil Gavaskar, were consistent as they would see it that it was an unfortunate choice and that the ball would have missed the stumps.

For Conway, it was a disheartening end as he was excused for a duck, stopping a run of three continuous fifties as he scored 85*, 56, 87 in CSK's last three matches.

Indeed, even Robin Uthappa needed to survey his choice as he was struck on the cushions by Bumrah and given out by the umpire. Yet, the DRS office was as yet not accessible. This time however the choice looked right as the ball had contributed line and the observers felt that it would have hit the stumps.

The issue was fixed before the finish of the second over as educated during the transmission by pundits.
