Massive landslide close to Nalda village of the Lahaul and Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh on Friday has blocked the glide of Chenab River.
No loss of existence or property has been mentioned inside the incident to this point.
"River is blocked and simplest 10-15 in keeping with cent water is discharging presently. Villages had been evacuated and a helicopter has been deployed for aerial survey," Sudesh Kumar Mokta, Director of Disaster Management stated.
Sudesh Kumar also knowledgeable that the deployment of the NDRF crew is underway, and the neighborhood management is taking stock of the whole lot.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Manav Verma said, "We have asked all of the Panchayat Pradhans to evacuate the humans from the lower line location of nearby villages.
