The Kerala High Court directed the nation government to record its response to a petition filed by using Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi that's the apex body of investors in the nation searching for a directive to the government for giving relaxations within the restrictions imposed on stores.

The Samithi pointed out in its petition that eleven buyers had committed suicide due to the monetary crisis faced following the imposition of the restrictions.
The petition said, "Experts stated that regulations on the functioning of shops must be withdrawn to keep away from overcrowding at some stage in the opening of shops on change days. In truth, allowing them to operate on all days could enable customers to store at a time of their comfort."
