In the last five years, the government has spent Rs 1,066 crore promoting sustainable technology

The public authority on Wednesday said Rs 1,086 crore has been allotted over the most recent five years for advancement of earth sustainable technology of which Rs 1,066 crore has been spent.


Answering an inquiry in Lok Sabha, Minister of State (Independent charge) Dr Jitendra Singh said a sum of Rs 31.21 crore have been dispensed for new companies and NGOs working for innovative work for development of earth practical innovation over the most recent three years.


As per the information shared by the priest, Rs 1,086.76 crore has been dispensed over the most recent five years for development of earth supportable innovation out of which Rs 1,066.57 crore has been spent.


Answering another inquiry, the clergyman said more than 12,000 young ladies have been upheld under the Vigyan Jyoti program starting around 2019-20.


The Vigyan Jyoti Program is becoming well known among young ladies step by step. The program is being executed in 100 locale of 33 states and Union Territories under Phase II. Around 10,000 young ladies of Classes IX-XII are selected under the program in Phase-II, Singh said in a composed reaction.


Different sorts of exercises are being coordinated under this program to make interest among young ladies for STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) fields.


These exercises incorporate advising of understudies guardians, profession directing, science camps, fiddling exercises, extraordinary talks/classes, visits to Knowledge Partners (KP)/Industry/Lab, cooperation with good examples, and so on, he added.
