In the midst of heavy rains, water levels in the Godavari river reach "alert" levels in Maharashtra

The minister held meetings with officers from the neighborhood administration and visited Godavari river.


People whose homes have been flooded due to heavy rains will get aid, Chavan stated, adding that he additionally took stock of the losses in agriculture and infrastructure sectors inside the district.


According to officers, Nanded has received 962.7 mm rain so far this monsoon, that's 118 in line with cent of its average annual rainfall.
