After a CBI court on Monday condemned previous Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav to five years detainment in the fifth grain trick case and forced a fine of Rs 60 lakhs on him, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) boss Tejashwi Yadav asserted that his dad was targetted on the grounds that he would not warmly greet the BJP.
"On the off chance that Lalu Ji would have warmly greeted the BJP, he would have been called Raja Harishchandra. In any case, he is battling against RSS-BJP. Thus, he is confronting detainment. We'll not get terrified with this", said Tejashwi Yadav on conviction of his dad and the previous Chief Minister of Bihar.
He further expressed, "Lalu ji has said that he could never show homage the BJP."
Further talking on the decision, Tejashwi Yadav said that the CBI has failed to remember other scamsters like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi while they were after Lalu Prasad Yadav's case. "Aside from the grain trick, it seems like no other trick has occurred in the country. In Bihar, right around 80 tricks occurred yet where could the CBI, ED, NIA be? The CBI has failed to remember Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi", said the RJD pioneer.
He additionally said that he would offer in the High Court. "The CBI court has condemned Lalu ji for the situation. We will currently go to the High Court. There are still High Court and Supreme Court. I accept that the decision in the higher courts will be agreeable to Lalu ji."
"Individuals of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are watching the manner in which the BJP is treating Lalu ji. Individuals of UP will offer a response in the decisions," he added.
