West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday paid recognitions for security faculty who lost their lives while battling fear mongers during the Parliament assaults in 2001.
Banerjee said that the country will consistently stay appreciative to them due to their administration.
"In case we neglect. Praise to all our valiant security staff who set out their lives on this day in 2001 to ensure our Parliament. The whole country recognize your preeminent penance. We will consistently stay appreciative to you for your benevolent help," she tweeted.
West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar likewise paid recognitions for the security staff.
"Recognitions for our valiant security staff martyred in the line of obligation during #ParliamentAttack in 2001. Their administration and incomparable penance rouses each resident TO KEEP NATION FIRST. Public safety is fundamental and calls for non compromising position," he tweeted. Twenty years prior on December 13, fear mongers of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) assaulted the Parliament intricate and started shooting, killing nine individuals.
The casualties included five Delhi Police faculty, a lady Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper, two Parliament watch and ward staff and a nursery worker. A writer who was harmed passed on later. Each of the five fear mongers were shot dead.
