The public authority on Thursday educated Rajya Sabha that the matter regarding giving old style status to the Marathi language is under dynamic thought of the way of life service, and a positive choice in such manner would be taken soon.
Answering to supplementaries during the Question Hour, Minister of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal said the matter is under "dynamic thought" and the public authority is concurring the top-most need to Indian dialects. Six dialects have up until this point been allowed old style language status, he said.
The way of life service has been approved for crafted by conceding of traditional language status according to a home service warning, Meghwal said.
"The service has set up a semantics master advisory group and this matter has then gone to the Sahitya Akademy and is pushing ahead emphatically. A positive choice will be taken very soon," he told the House.
