Transitory flying creatures discovered dead at Pong Dam Lake in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra region have tried positive for bird flu, as per authorities, the fourth state to report instances of the feared avian flu as of late.
Around 1,800 transient winged creatures, the vast majority of them bar-headed geese, have been discovered dead in the lake safe-haven up until now.
Head Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Archana Sharma said that the lab at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute in Bareilly distinguished avian flu in the examples of dead winged animals while referring to the data passed on by the Center.
