Northwest India is preparing for a cold New Year's eve as the base temperatures are probably going to fall in the locale by three to five degrees Celsius during the following three days.
"After the entry of the western aggravation and affected by the subsequent fortifying of cold and dry northwesterly/northerly lower-level breezes: Fall in least temperatures by 3-5°C over Northwest India during next 3 days (29th-31st December) and slight ascent by 2-3°C from that point," India Meteorological Department (IMD) expressed in its release.
Cold wave to serious virus wave conditions in confined to certain pockets is likely over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, and north Rajasthan during 29th-30th December and Cold Wave conditions in segregated pockets over these areas on 31st December 2020 and first January 2021 and reduction of cold wave conditions from that point. continue reading….
