Senior locale authorities on Thursday morning visited the zone in Nandigram where West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was purportedly assaulted while lobbying for the forthcoming gathering decisions.
Purba Medinipur District Magistrate Vibhu Goel, Superintendent of Police Praween Prakash and different officials visited the Birulia Bazar territory to ask about the occurrence, authorities said.
