Previous Mumbai police magistrate Param Bir Singh, presently suspended, neglected to show up before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Tuesday till early afternoon to record his explanation regarding an open enquiry being directed against him on a grumbling stopped by a police assessor, an authority said.
Singh, who was suspended from administration after numerous coercion arguments were enlisted against him, was called to show up before the ACB on Tuesday yet he hasn't showed up till early afternoon, he said.
Prior he was gathered to show up before the ACB on January 10, however he had refered to pendency of hearing in the Supreme Court as the justification for not turning up, he said.
"As of late, our test group went to his Mumbai home and gave the notification of appearance before the ACB," the authority said, adding that the notification was gotten by Singh's cook.
"He (Singh) was approached to stay present before ACB authorities on January 18, however up to this point there is no correspondence from him. He hasn't showed up face to face such a long ways before us," the authority said.
The ACB is directing an open enquiry against Singh on the objection held up by police controller Anup Dange, who had evened out charges of debasement against the previous Mumbai top cop.
