Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and devote to the country several key projects of the Railways in Gujarat on Friday through video conferencing.
He will also inaugurate the Aquatics and Robotics Gallery, and Nature Park in Gujarat Science City throughout the event.
The Railway projects consist of the newly redeveloped Gandhinagar Capital Railway station, gauge transformed cum electrified Mahesana - Varetha line, and the newly electrified Surendranagar - Pipavav segment.
The Prime Minister will even flag off two new trains i.E Gandhinagar Capital - Varanasi Superfast Express and MEMU carrier trains among Gandhinagar Capital and Varetha.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, PM Modi said: "At 4:30 PM tomorrow, sixteenth July, a range of thrilling development works may be inaugurated in Gujarat. These works cowl the surroundings, nature, railways and technological know-how."
According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the upgradation of Gandhinagar Capital Railway station has been performed at a price of Rs 71 crore. The Station has been provided with world elegance facilities, at par with modern-day airports. Special Care has been taken to make it a Divyang pleasant station by means of offering it with a special price tag booking counter, ramps, lifts, devoted parking area and many others.
