Cell phone producer Realme on Wednesday said it hopes to get 10-15 percent share in the 4G handsets fragment estimated in the scope of Rs 10,000-Rs 20,000 a unit with the dispatch of new 8 arrangement gadgets.
The organization will have all gadgets above Rs 20,000 value range empowered with 5G innovation.
"With the dispatch of realme 8 arrangement, we are planning to infiltrate further into the Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 mid-range 4G market, and catch the youthful clients the nation over.
"We intend to expand our piece of the pie in this section to 10-15 percent with the dispatch of the 8 arrangement," Realme Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer (India and Europe) Madhav Seth said on sidelines of dispatching the new arrangement.
The organization disclosed two new models, Realme 8 Pro, first cell phone with 108 megapixel ultra quad camera and Realme 8 with 64 MP AI quad camera.
Realme has dispatched two variations of Realme 8 Pro evaluated at Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 which will begin selling on March 25 at the organization's site, internet business gateway Flipkart and mainline channels.
Three variations of Realme 8, which accompanies Mediatek Helio gaming processor, estimated in the scope of 14,999 and Rs 16,999 will likewise begin selling that very day.
As per statistical surveying firm IDC, Realme recorded the most elevated year-on-year development of 19% in the cell phone class in 2020 with shipment of 19.2 million telephones adding up to 13 percent piece of the pie in India.
Seth said that the organization is hoping to sell 25-30 million cell phones in 2021.
