A few pieces of Delhi were covered by haze on Wednesday as the base temperature in the city dropped to four degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Moderate haze brought perceivability down to 201 meters at Safdarjung and to 350 meters at Palam, an IMD official said.
As per the climate office, verydensefogis when perceivability is somewhere in the range of 0 and 50 meters, 51 and 200 is thick, 201 and 500 moderate, and 501 and 1,000 shallow.
The Safdarjung Observatory, which gives delegate information to the city, recorded at least four degrees Celsius, which was four indents underneath ordinary. continue reading….
