A SpiceJet plane was harmed on Monday while its wing hit a lightning shaft at the Delhi air terminal when the airplane was pushed back from the stopping position to be prepared for take more time to Jammu, DGCA authorities said.
The travelers were not really harmed and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has started an examination concerning the matter, they said.
The Boeing 737-800 airplanes of SpiceJet was being pushed back Monday morning when its conservative hit the lightning shaft in the cover region of the air terminal.
The plane was booked to leave from Delhi at 9.20 am, authorities noted.
In an explanation, a SpiceJet representative said, "On March 28, 2022, SpiceJet flight SG 160 was planned to work among Delhi and Jammu.
"During push back, the traditional following edge came in close contact with a shaft, making harm aileron. A substitution airplane has been organized to work the flight," he said.
