The public authority on Wednesday chose to imbue Rs 1,500 crore in the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), raising its loaning ability to Rs 12,000 crore.
A proposition in such manner was supported by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
Preparation columnists after the Cabinet meeting, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said the choice has been taken in the wake the RBI's loaning standards.
The pastor said the mixture of Rs 1,500 crore will empower IREDA to loan Rs 12,000 crore to the sustainable area.
The Cabinet choice will assist IREDA with making environmentally friendly power limit of 3,500 to 4,000 MW.
