The Delhi authorities on Wednesday banned the garage, sale and use of firecrackers all through Diwali thanks to the intense pollution degrees inside the city.
"Seeing the excessive pollutants ranges inside the national capital for the final three years for the duration of Diwali, a complete ban is being imposed on garage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers in Delhi this time, much like ultimate 12 months," Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi.
"Last yr, the ban changed into imposed after traders had already stored firecrackers on the market which had ended in losses for them. I appeal to the investors to not stock up on firecrackers in view of the complete ban," he stated.
