The Eden Gardens will host the IPL 2022 qualifier and elimination matches


In the midst of the continuous release of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kolkata's Eden Gardens is good to go to have the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches of the money rich competition.


The last association phase of IPL 2022 will be played on May 22 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings. The Playoffs stage will launch from May 24 in Eden Gardens, Kolkata.


"We are anticipating it. As a matter of fact, we are facilitating an IPL following a hole of three years on the grounds that in 2019 we facilitated it last. Prior, Eden Gardens had facilitated India's matches against New Zealand and West Indies in November 2021 and February 2022, individually.


"Dislike Eden isn't prepared. We have facilitated worldwide matches in November. We have been conversing with the specialists. We had gatherings with the police specialists. Today, there was a PWD visit. Past that, we even had gatherings with the military and the games office. In this way, the arrangements are going full speed ahead and there is a tremendous interest for tickets," said the CAB president.



The end of the season games will be played in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, with Qualifier 1 set to occur in the Eden Gardens, trailed by the Eliminator on the following day. The Narendra Modi arena will have the Qualifier 2 on May 27. A similar setting will have the finals on May 29.


The four grounds utilized for the matches so far are in Maharashtra itself, in particular: Wankhede Stadium and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, and the MCA Stadium in Pune.
