These included convenience barge P305 with 273 people, load barge GAL Constructor with 137 faculty ready, convenience barge SS-3 with 196 staff ready and the Sagar Bhushan oil rig with 101 work force ready, a Navy official said.


While every one of the 137 individuals on board the payload barge GAL Constructor have been safeguarded, 177 of the 273 installed P305 have been protected up until this point, the authority said.


"Two Coast Guard Chetak helicopters working from the Coast Guard Air station in Daman saved faculty on board the GAL Constructor. One more Chetak helicopter was likewise squeezed into administration for the SAR tasks," he said.


There is no word yet on the advancement of salvage tasks for the convenience barge SS-3 and the Sagar Bhushan oil rig.
