The Rajya Sabha on Monday congratulated badminton ace P V Sindhu for triumphing a bronze medal on the Tokyo Olympics, announcing that she has scripted history by means of becoming the u . S .'s first lady to win character Olympics medals.
When the House met for the day, Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu congratulated Sindhu for her gritty performance on behalf of the House and himself.

Born in a family of sportspersons, Sindhu took to badminton whilst she became just 12. She together with her father used to travel one hundred twenty-km daily for education, he stated.
"Personally recognised to me, I were witness to her tough work, perseverance and sheer determination in the direction of her ardour," Naidu stated. "It is suitable to be aware of the role of Sindhu's mother and father and own family in her marvelous upward push and achievements in badminton that brought her laurels for our us of a," he added.
