The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) dispatched a drive here on Thursday to gather assets for the development of a Ram sanctuary in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.


RSS general secretary Suresh "Bhaiyyaji" Joshi dispatched the drive in Jammu and Kashmir as a feature of a cross country crusade, a RSS representative said.


Joshi connected with individuals and looked for their interest in the development of the Ram sanctuary.


The drive will proceed till February 27.


Joshi said the drive was for assortment of assets as well as to interface with individuals and the general public.


Leader Narendra Modi had played out the bhoomi pujan to start the development of the sanctuary on August 5 a year ago.
