State head Narendra Modi will practically initiate the second grounds of Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) in Kolkata on Friday.
As indicated by a public statement by the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday, the second grounds of CNCI has been inherent line with the Prime Minister's vision to extend and redesign the wellbeing offices in all pieces of the country.

Further expounding on the venture, the delivery said that the second grounds of CNCI has been worked at an expense of over Rs 530 crore, out of which around Rs 400 crores have been given by the Union government and the rest by the West Bengal government, in the proportion of 75:25.
"The grounds is a 460 had relations with far reaching malignant growth place unit with state of the art foundation for disease determination, arranging, treatment and care. The grounds is outfitted with current offices like Nuclear Medicine (PET), 3.0 Tesla MRI, 128 cut CT scanner, Radionuclide treatment unit, endoscopy suite, present day brachytherapy units and so on," said the delivery.
"The grounds will likewise function as a high level disease research office and will give thorough consideration to malignant growth patients particularly those from Eastern and North-Eastern pieces of the country," the delivery added.
