State head Narendra Modi on Wednesday introduced 11 clinical schools in Tamil Nadu by means of video conferencing.
State head Modi additionally initiated the new grounds of Central Institute of Classical Tamil in Chennai.
These clinical universities have been introduced in areas including Virudhunagar, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Thiruvallur, Nagapattinam, Dindigul, Kallakurichi, Ariyalur, Ramanathapuram and Krishnagiri.
As per Prime Minister's Office (PMO), MBBS seats have been expanded by 79.60 percent (from 51,348 seats to 92,222 seats) and the quantity of PG seats expanded by 80.70 percent (from 31,185 seats to 56,374 seats) during the most recent seven years.
Along these lines, the all out clinical seats before 2014 were around 82,500. What's more over the most recent seven years, a leap of around 80% or 66,000 seats has occurred.
The all out number of clinical universities (both government and private) has expanded from 387 to 596, a leap of around 54%, the PMO informed.
