Wartime insurance issues force Air India to cancel its Delhi-Moscow flight

Air India on Thursday dropped its Delhi-Moscow administration over the dread that its flight protection may not be substantial in Russian skies in the midst of the continuous Russian intrusion of Ukraine, sources said.

Flight protection is by and large given by organizations based out of western nations.

Western nations prohibited all Russian aircrafts from their airspace after Russia began a conflict against Ukraine on February 24.

Nonetheless, Air India has been working Delhi-Moscow flights double seven days. India has not restricted Russian aircrafts from its airspace.

The Air India's Delhi-Moscow flight that was planned to work on Thursday stands dropped, the sources said.

They expressed that the flight was dropped as it was expected that the protection may not be substantial in Russian skies.

Air India didn't answer PTI's solicitation for an assertion on this.
