WhatsApp is making it easier for users to live on top of their maximum important chats, and to help deprioritise other messages which could get within the way.
Starting Tuesday, it's miles rolling out new settings for archived chats in an effort to supply users more manipulate over their inbox and extra methods to organise the Archived Chats folder.
"We have heard that customers want their archived messages to stay tucked away within the Archived Chats folder, rather than transferring lower back into your main chat list when a new message arrives. The new Archived Chats settings suggest that any message thread this is archived will now stay inside the Archived Chats folder, although a new message is despatched to that thread," the organization stated.
Now, these chats will stay tucked away permanently, except customers choose to manually unarchive the communication.
The circulate is aimed toward letting users have more manipulate over their messaging revel in.
"If you try it out and determine it’s not for you, you’ll also be capable of exchange it again to the way it labored before," WhatsApp stated.
