With the annual headcount, Bhitarkanika National Park to remain shut from January 15 for croc census

With the yearly headcount exercise of estuarine crocodiles getting in progress, Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha would stay outside the field of play for nine days of this current month for nature sweethearts who long for appreciating the glow of amicable wetland spots, authorities said.


The public park is being closed from January 15 to 23 for the yearly evaluation of the estuarine crocodiles. Upwards of 22 groups have been established to include the crocodiles in the brooks, nullahs, and waterways inside the recreation center and its close by regions.
